Seit 2010 leitet er das Fachgebiet Regelungstechnik und Simulation an der TH OWL, wo er sich mit innovativen Regelungssystemen und deren praktischer Anwendung befasst. Er ist seit 2017 Leiter des Instituts f\u00fcr Energieforschung, das interdisziplin\u00e4r in unterschiedlichen Bereichen an der zukunftsf\u00e4higen Energieversorgung und -nutzung arbeitet.
